Rickmansworth – En-Suite Bathroom

About The Project

Back in May 2019, we completed a stunning contemporary bathroom refurbishment in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire. The client had contacted us in the hope that they could modernise their en-suite, making the most out of the small space that they had available. Not only did they want to incorporate a toilet and bath but also a double sink and shower enclosure.

As always, the project commenced with an initial design visit, where a member of the Ahmco design team spent time to understand the client’s requirements while taking measurements of the en-suite. This meant that they could then go away and begin creating a bespoke design, which would encapsulate the client’s vision for their new space.

Once the client had approved the design, our team could then begin transforming their en-suite. The chosen colour scheme of the space was a sleek monochrome, which would be complete with patterned tiling to add a splash of colour. To add contrast, the client opted for a rustic, bohemian-inspired tiling for the flooring and a gloss-finish moss green tile for the walls of their shower enclosure. The remaining walls, furniture and storage would then stick with a strict black and white palette.

The installation process itself included a white toilet and bidet, which was surrounded by black fitted storage cupboards, along with double sinks, again accompanied by additional storage. Above the sinks, a large, light-up mirror was mounted which perfectly complemented the silver taps. The silver theme was also incorporated into the made-to-measure shower enclosure, which was complete with a silver rain showerhead and controls.

As you can see from the photos featured below, the results of this en-suite project were beautiful and met the client’s requirements of a contemporary space which included all of their essentials, without looking overcrowded.
